The ACI Storico Club, the Automobile Club of Trieste and AAVS (Association of Amateurs of Historic Vehicles) , with the patronage of the Automobile Club of Italy , the FIA (International Automobile Federation) and FIVA (Fédération International des Véhicules Anciens) , organize from 14 to 16 May in the historic and extraordinary Piazza Unità d'Italia, the “City of Trieste” Elegance Competition .
The goal of the ACI Storico Club , thanks to the collaboration of AAVS ., Is to create an annual event of international standing.
This initiative has its roots in the extraordinary experience of the “Castello di Miramare” Elegance Competition , organized by the late Vittorio Klun, which for many years has characterized the experience of historic Italian and international motorsport.
The event is reserved for historic cars, built from 1910 to 1979 , with the aim of representing the evolution of the style and technique of the automobile through seventy years of history.
The Competition is open to cars of any type that significantly represent their time, with both open and closed bodywork, sporty, elegant, utilitarian or luxury, restored or preserved.
A jury of experts will be asked to evaluate the cars on the basis of their historical, aesthetic and technical value, their authenticity and their design.
